The Astronauts, that no other studio was formed by the former developers of Bulletstorm, has shown some initial looks on Unreal Engine 3-powered title they were prepared, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

In this title, gamers play as Paul Prospero, a supernatural detective who gets a letter from Ethan Carter and realize that this child is in danger. When he arrived at the residence of Ethan, he found that the child had disappeared.

Gamers will use the detective and supernatural abilities to solve cases related to the loss of Ethan Carter. With a first-person perspective, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter will put gamers in the interaction and exploration of the environment to find clues of this case.

"The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is our attempt to tell a story while keeping players multilayer remains dissolved in it in a way that can only be done by a video game," said team.

Now, this game is in development for PC. However, it is also an opportunity for the Astronauts to bring it to the next-gen consoles later.

Overview of the developer, The Astronauts was founded in 2012 by Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski, and Michal Kosieradzki, the third founder of People Can Fly.
